Current Behavior

This is on an M2 Tahoe 26.1 ARM machine.

On boot of the homebrew installed YTMDesktop, the error “YouTube Music Desktop App” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash. appears.

It looks like only an intel mac version past 2.0.0 has been updated in homebrew. I don't immediately see a ticket describing why an ARM version is unavailable.

Looking at recent updates in the cask repo for homebrew, I see only intel versions being added. https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-cask/pulls?q=is%3Apr+ytmdesktop-youtube-music+is%3Aclosed
