I encountered the same issue, so the issue was that my account had insufficient money, so even if the free trial says $0, GitHub will verify your payment method by taking the subscription amount, then returning it. I had to top up my card and tried the process again; it worked fine! So I encourage you to have at least the subscription amount with an extra margin on your card or payment account when trying. You can consider contacting the support team in case this doesn't work. |
