To add some more information (as I am currently experiencing it): the chat panel does not initialize at all, it just stays blank. Completions, on the oher hand, work just fine. |

You can find them by navigating to Window → Show View → Error Log, then double-clicking the relevant entry to view the full stack trace. Hi @ethanyhou Sorry, it took a while to get back to you. As it is often the case with software, the problem seems to have resolved itself by sleeping for a week. Today, the chat panel initializes, the problem is gone (at least for me and for today.) The error log shows only "info" entries in the categories From my side: sorry for wasting your time. Maybe TLBauer will still add additional information. Best regards |

My issue occurred when installing the updates to bring my Eclipse system up to 2025-09. Attached is the zip file from today's attempt to perform the re-install again.

The attached file is a .ZIP file. Rename the ".a" extension to ".zip" and then extract the contents of the file. You should just have a ".log" file present.

I also have an issue using Eclipse JEE 2025-09. The copilot4eclipse plugin works fine though. There is zero messages in the log file, so hard to know what could be wrong |

It seems to me that you cannot upgrade to the 2025-09 version of Eclipse if you are running GitHub coPilot. Anyone else seeing this issue?
