My account has been suspended #156267

Select Topic AreaGeneral BodyMy github account (https://github.com/syedzaibraza) is suspended suddenly and without any notice, which has seriously affected my work.
My entire work has been suspended and my repositories are no longer accessible. There is no way to restore or at least what caused this terrible situation from github, which makes me worried about my future creations if this situation continues. I have read and found that not only me but many people out there are also facing the same situation as me, I don't know how github allows this to happen so often. |

I'm really sorry about the situation. Fortunately, you can still reach out to GitHub Support without logging in – just use this form: https://support.github.com/contact/cannot_sign_in Also, make sure that the geolocation of your IP address (i.e., the country you're connecting from) matches the country code of your phone number. If there's a mismatch, GitHub might block the verification. Good luck! |

Hi @zaibraza27 I’m sorry to hear about your situation — I understand how frustrating and worrying it must be to lose access to your GitHub account and repositories, especially without any prior notice. It’s indeed concerning that the verification system is not functioning correctly even after you added your phone number. In your case, since the regular support form isn’t letting you proceed, I suggest trying these additional steps: ⸻ GitHub’s suspensions can be automatic (due to bot behavior, DMCA, ToS, etc.), so I’d recommend asking clearly for a review and explanation. You can say something like: “I respectfully request a full clarification of the reason behind the suspension, and a chance to resolve any misunderstanding or issue associated with my account.” I truly hope you’ll get it sorted soon — let me know if I can help draft that email or message for you. Best of luck 🙏 |

In the meantime, try refreshing." https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/156093 and |

i have opted for 30 days free trail in copiolet the suddenly i got this mail and my access is restricted someone guide me to get back my access again. Hello @YogeshGY, On behalf of the GitHub Security team, I want to first extend our gratitude for your continued use of GitHub and for being a valued member of the GitHub community. Recent activity on your account has caught the attention of our abuse-detection systems. This activity may have included use of Copilot via scripted interactions, an otherwise deliberately unusual or strenuous nature, or use of unsupported clients or multiple accounts to circumvent billing and usage limits. Due to this, we have suspended your access to Copilot. |
