Taskbar Player

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It's a bit of an annoyance for me to hover over the icon to able to use the thumbnail buttons (which I would like add are quite small). Instead I rather wish to have, basically the mini player but for the taskbar.

I also wish that the player only appears and disappear as the taskbar does. So, that it can automatically hide when not in use.

Describe alternatives you've considered
The mini player and the thumbnail buttons are great alternatives. However, it does take multiple clicks and mouse movements so I simply wish it would be streamlined.

Additional context
This could also replace the icons on the taskbar (both tray and main).

We expose a client API so third‑party projects can control the player. If someone wants to build an integration, they’re free to do so.

As for our side, I’ve started a custom tray‑menu control for the app, but it’s currently unfinished and sitting idle. I plan to finish it after I resolve the high‑DPI compatibility issues.
