Per branch memory in addition to per path

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I switch git branches in the same path really often and memory from one branch is sometimes irrelevant to the another.

Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to have a per branch memory, so when I switch to another feature I get memory about this feature, not the one I worked on before.

Describe alternatives you've considered
The best alternative I can think of is git worskpaces for every branch. A nightmare.
