Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I use different aliases of Claude for my 9-5 and freelance (i.e. claude-work and claude-personal). When I install the plugin in my .claude-personal directory-based alias it seems to be looking for things in the default .claude directory.

Perhaps a configuration option for the root directory name. Or check the directory in the code in case it's not the default .claude directory.

It's also possible that any npm install commands used to add dependencies are failing on my end because NODE_ENV on my system always defaults to "production". I've witnessed this causing issues with some npm and npx commands.
