https://github.com/copilot doesn't have opensearch support which makes it impossible to add custom serach engine in Chrome and other browsers for a quick browser based search in github copilot.

If it had that feature, a shortcut like gc and pressing tab in browser address bar in Chrome, and typing your query would be possible, which is much faster than going to https://github.com/copilot and then entering your query in the text box.
