Unable to Verify GitHub Education – Name and Camera Issue

Hi everyone,

I have applied for GitHub Education several times and keep getting the reasons:
“Please use your device camera…” and
“Please ensure that your academic affiliation document contains your first name exactly as it appears in your GitHub billing information.”

I used my iPhone Safari camera to capture my dated student ID card from FPT University (see attached).
My billing first name is “Dong Vu” and last name is “Trinh”, which matches my student ID “Trinh Dong Vu”.
Could you please check my application manually and let me know what I am doing wrong?

manual checks arent done in the community, and github removed the education ticket options for individual application reviews or status updates (most verification is automated now).
name mismatch (vietnamese order)
your id shows “Trinh Dong Vu”. to match exactly what the verifier reads, set billing or profile so the combined name matches that order (first name: Trinh, Last name: Dong Vu), then sign out/in before reapplying.
please use your device camera… even though you attached a photo
this usually means the form did not detect a live camera capture. use the in-form camera capture flow (not selecting from photos), ensure safari has camera permission for education.github.com, and if possible retry from another device or browser.
if you still get the same loop after doing the above, use the contact support.
