My GitHub Following (the list of users I follow) is out of sync between web and mobile app.

My Following list (the users I’m following) is not synchronizing properly between the GitHub website and the mobile app. Changes made on one platform don’t appear on the other.

This is a known issue that occasionally happens due to caching and sync delays between GitHub’s web and mobile backends.

A few things you can try:

• Force close and reopen the mobile app
• Log out and log back in on the mobile app
• Clear the app cache (Android) or reinstall the app
• Wait a few minutes, as following/unfollowing actions are sometimes eventually consistent

If the problem persists for several hours or days, it’s best to report it directly to GitHub Support so they can investigate account-level sync issues:
